Advertising

The Supreme Court’s ruling that lawyers have a right to advertise to provide consumers with information has resulted in large yellow-page advertisements, mailers and websites generated by inexperienced attorneys and centralized “franchise chain store” attorney offices in large metropolitan areas. Some of them have catchy “1-800-DUI” style phone numbers in every county in California, giving the impression that the caller has contacted a local office, when really their call has been re-routed to an out-of-area office.

When you call our office, your case will be handled by LOCAL attorneys, who can meet with you in person, and who know the “ins and outs” of our local courts and judges.

Online Searches

Internet searches for attorneys will give you names of attorneys from distant areas, even when you type in your city or county. These are referral systems that make a living by referring cases to other lawyers. They do not have your interests at heart. Do not take advice from referral systems and do not take advice from paralegals or attorneys who do not specialize in your kind of case. Do not trust online referrals like Google Ad Words, Nolo, Yelp, AVVO, or any alleged State Bar referral service – those are merely PAID propaganda. The only true, non-paid referrals are from California DUI Lawyers (www.California-DUI-Lawyers.org).

Statistics

Some lawyers boast a large percentage of cases won, but those statistics are often misleading because they were not exclusively DUI or criminal cases. Other law firms state their years of experience by adding all the years of experience of clerical, secretarial, and attorneys in their office.

Don’t settle for second best. As the most experienced criminal law firm in Northern California, North ValleyAttorneys will give you the representation you deserve.
